Medical Peels
Chemical peels harness the power of naturally occurring acid to brighten, exfoliates and smooth skin. They can treat various skin conditions such as acne scars, congested or oily skin, dull/dry skin, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, melasma and sun damage. Chemical peels can range from mild to more intense, as well as, resurfacing. Stronger peels penetrate into deeper layers of the skin shedding damaged cells and promote skin repair and regeneration. At WWC we offer OBAGI Medical grade peels from Blue Peel Radiance to various strength of TCA’s. Along with Obagi Medical grade peels, we also use Cosmelan and Dermamelan for very stubborn melasma. This would include a focused pre-peel skin product program, preparatory peel, Cosmelan or Dermamelan peel and post peel skin products.

Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that cause muscle contractions. It is often used to relax specific muscles under the skin to treat facial wrinkles, improve facial symmetry and proportion and also reduce bulky muscles such as the masseter. Botulinum toxin is used for many other medical indications including migraines and facial spasms. Botulinum toxin has been used in medical treatments for over 4 decades and was the first to be approve by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of wrinkles in 1989. It is now one of the most popular cosmetic treatments in the world. With Botulinum toxin we can treat forehead lines, frown (11’s), crow’s feet wrinkles, lip lines, gummy smile, bunny lines, marionette lines, cobblestone chin, wide jaw and teeth grinding.

Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are the building blocks of DNA and RNA – nucleic acid that give the instructions for the cell function, regeneration and gene expression. They have been used in medicine since 1986, for example to promote wound healing and tissue repair, with over 50 scientific publications in the last 20 years. Polynucleotides are extracted from Trout or Salmon, sterilised and ultra-purified before being made into injectable products. Polynucleotides involve a series of micro-injections strategically placed across face and body. As polynucleotides are broken down in our body, they promote DNA synthesis, increase cell regeneration and production of collagen and elastin whilst reducing inflammation. This treatment is excellent for wrinkles, scars, dark circles, eye bags, sagging skin, hair loss, melasma, dull/dry skin, aging neck, decolletage and hands. You cannot have this treatment if you have an allergy to fish products.

Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable substances used to restore volume, smooth wrinkles and lines, as well as, enhance facial contours. Although there are different types of fillers, the most popular are hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers. HA is a substance that already exists in the skin and one of its main functions is to hydrate and plump the skin. All dermal fillers are crossed-linked. Dermal fillers can have different structures and consistencies that make them more suitable for treatment of different areas. For example, when choosing the best filler for the lips, we seek a filler that is soft and moves smoothly with facial expressions and provides moisture. When choosing the best filler for the cheeks, we seek a filler that is firm and volumizing. At the WWC we work with different evidence-based filler brands and will help you to choose the best filler for you ensuring that you achieve optimal and natural results.
